Desert Patriot’s firearm training courses are held to the highest standard of safety. Our courses are led by NRA certified and very qualified instructors. Instructors continually keep up with training and knowledge to allow our students to get the best training that makes feel comfortable and safe throughout the process.
We Are All About Family.
Some of our biggest CCW courses become a party at the convenience of our clients and in their homes or at a private setting in our facility. All their family members and friends will come along with their kids so they can play while we teach.
When we originally started this company this is what we envisioned for each class and we have had many opportunities to have it happen this way. We never want a class to be boring or dragged out. We never want you to spend extra funds on a baby sitter and then have you drive somewhere else to sit in a long 8 hour course that you lose interest in.
Why do that when you can literally host a course in the comfort of your home, office or our facility. We are truly glad we offer something unique for our students to enjoy and make our courses straight and to the point. 3 hours of some of the best knowledge you can obtain without actually shooting.
Note: Our live fire courses are a bit different. We still come to you and find the closest range to your location. Children however are not allowed at our group live fire courses as we want everyone as safe and focused as possible. However there is private courses for parents and their child upon request. Live fire courses are usually two hours long.
PrivatE Group/1 on 1 Courses Offered
Private CCW Course | 3 hours | $70+
Desert Patriot Training and Tactics will come to YOU and teach the CCW Course. All we require is at least 4+ people in your group, a classroom setting which can even be your living room or at Desert Patriot Training's facility. The class will meet the qualifying requirements and documentation to submit for the Arizona CCW permit. These concealed carry permits will allow combined carry in approximately 30+ states. The class covers firearms safety, handling, transportation, storage, ammunition, self-defense, firearms laws, concealed carry techniques and much more. This class is taught by a NRA Certified Instructor who can answer any questions you may have. No range time for this course.
Live Fire Courses (Beginners to Advanced) | $90 +
We offer multiple levels of pistol courses. These courses can be for a new shooter to advanced. We go over the basics of shooting, shot placement and how to confidently handle your firearm. We also do more advanced courses such as holster draws, shooting on the move, reloading and more. When booking for a personal or private live fire group course we recommend to book at least 2 weeks out so we can discuss the groups or individual’s personal wants and needs. Some training requires you to bring advanced gear depending what level you are at in your training. If you are booking for a group keep it intimate so it helps your comfort level with training. Get your family, friends, or co-workers and have a safe and great day on the range! This is a perfect for families! We go at your pace so we will work with you or your group as personally as we can. Start off with introduction to pistol then start booking monthly classes to advance your training. Range/location will depend on your location. We will try our best to find what is closest to you.
Parent & Me Firearm Safety Course |$25+
Children and parents come learn about Eddie the Eagle and his Wing Team and what they say about the importance of gun safety! The National Rifle Association’s Eddie Eagle Gun Safe program is a gun accident prevention program that was deigned with the help of law enforcement officials, community groups, educators, psychologists, and other specialists.
We also partner with National Shooting Sports Foundation in their Project ChildSafe which actively promotes firearms safety and education in all 50 states and U.S. territories. The program is dedicated to promoting responsible firearm handling and storage through the distribution of safety education messages and safety kits.
This is a course to help children prepare when they come across a firearm accidentally such as when they are at a sleepover, playing in the park and other places. This program also helps the parents teach their children about safety within the home.
